Marc Slayton - Backlash and Cole Cash -Grifter. Both are former members of Team 7, from which a government experiment gave them special abilities and powers. But before that process was tested on them, it was used on "lab animals" - transforming them into a mysterious animal/human hybrid race known as the Kindred.
Publishing History:
The Kindred was a four-issue miniseries published by Image Comics between February and July 1994. The sequel was also a four-issue miniseries, published 8 years later by DC/WildStorm between March and June 2002.
