Overview:
Sci-Tech pitted secret societies of technology zealots (Techs) against naturalists (Natives) for control of the world. The series starred reporter Leo Lomax and scientist Corrine Van Kessler, both of whom get caught in the middle of the conflict.
Hoping to land a great story, Lomax follows a lead which points to him straight to a government energy experiment. There, he meets Kessler and a group of black-suited agents sent by the Techs to monitor the goings-on. As the war rages between the Techs and the Natives, Lomax discovers his body may hold long-dormant superpowers, and that he might be destined to play a part in creating peace.
Publishing History:
Sci-Tech was a four-issue limited series that was published between September and December of 1999. Although the miniseries seemed to have little or no connection to the WildStorm Universe, its story was concluded in the final issues of The Patriots, a series dealing with the demise of International Operations.
