Raksha
First Appearance: WildC.A.T.s #10
History
Similar to the Daemonites, the Raksha's are a parasitic species. The difference is the Raksha's have no physical body beyond the body they possess. The only way to destroy a Raksha is psychic disintegration. If their spirit is left intact, tentacles can grow from any corrupted tissue and entangle another victim. Wounds from a Raksha's nails have enough genetic material to change an organism into a Raksha. Their entire race serves the witch Tapestry. The Wildcats encountered the Raksha's when Alabaster Wu fled to Earth.
