History:

The Puritans were a special branch of International Operations dedicated to protecting mankind from alien threats. They often captured and dissected alien lifeforms, learning everything they could to fight them. Despite being a part of I.O., Elijah Sterling, the Director of the Puritans and Sector 52, reported directly to the White House, completely bypassing then-I.O. Director Ben Santini.

At one point the Puritans attempted to travel through time and kill various aliens that had effected the developpment of human history. The operation led up to two teas of Puritans attempting to destroy the Daemonite and Kherubim ships responsible for first stranding aliens on Earth.

Military Forces:
Puritan Stormtroopers (WIldC.A.T.s #37): The Puritan Stormtroopers are the elite footsoldiers of Sector 52. Its members were recruited from various branches of the American military and are the best special warfare soldiers the United States ever produced. The Stormtroopers were often tasked with the capture and/or elimination of xenoforms (aliens).

Bases:
Sector 52 (WildC.A.T.s #37): Sector 52 was the top-secret base of the Puritans, located in the middle of Nevada. It possessed numerous labs suited for experimentation and dissection of alien lifeforms. It was also the staging area for operations conducted by the elite Puritan Stormtroopers. Sector 52 was destroyed during an assault by the WildCATs.

Outpost 53 (WildC.A.T.s #45): Outpost 53 was created by Elijah Sterling as a back-up plan in case the personnel of Sector 52 weren't enough. The inhabitants were activated following the destruction of Sector 52. The current status of the anti-alien supersoldiers is currently unknown.
