SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!
Bio:

Jeremy Stone spent the early years of his life unaware that he was not entirely human. However, when Jeremy discovered his heritage and his ability to transform into a giant being of superhuman strength, he joined the intergalactic war between the Kherubim and Daemonites, becoming a member of the WildC.A.T.s and using the codename Maul.

WildC.A.T.s (Covert Action Teams)
When the WildC.A.T.s traveled to Khera, the Kherubim native homeworld, he discovered his ancestors made up part of a caste of artisans who were the original Kheran natives (now called Titanthropes), but were dislocated to the subterrans by another alien race.

There, he fell in love with another Titanthrope, a female named Glingo. She gave her life to prevent an attack using bombs planned by the Coda. They intended to frame the Titanthropes, but the plan was exposed and the bomb killed her. This was a serious emotional blow to Maul. Later, when the team returned to Earth, he quit the WildC.A.T.s to become a professor. At the end of the first series he came back, but soon left when Zealot was apparently killed.

Wildcats
In the second series, it was revealed he could increase his intelligence by decreasing his body mass, but this proved to be physically depleting. Jeremy has devoted himself to science and has shown some reluctance to use his superhuman powers these days. He has also started a relationship with Voodoo. He was nearly blinded after Samuel Smith's attack, but he recovered.

Wildcats 3.0
His connection to the Wildcats deteriorated further after Spartan became the head of the Halo Corporation and started using Kherubim technology to help the world. The final nail in the coffin was when Maul and Voodoo ended their relationship.
An aspect of her telepathic powers is that they increase with physical intimacy, and Voodoo's willingness to be intimate with other men to use them was, despite his protests, not something Jeremy could cope with. The break-up fight was ended when Priscilla intentionally angered him to the point that he grew in size. With the resulting loss of intellect that comes with his size growth, he forgot they were fighting, and she took the opportunity to leave.

Captain Atom: Armageddon
Jeremy found himself yet again working alongside his Wildcats teammates, taking on the possibly cataclysmic threat of Captain Atom that led to Worldstorm.

World's End
Maul is now once again apart of the Wildcats team now that the world has ended due to the attack by the High's clones the Reapers. He is also once again in a relationship with Voodoo. Since Halo is the only building that still has power the super hero Mr. Majestic often attacks them stealing their resources and taking it back to his refuge in Hawaii and sharing it with the people he brings there.

He gives a few of the team the choice to come with him and Maul is one of them due to his heritage. After the team became aware of an oasis still surviving the ruined earth the team investigated and fought a series of beings protecting the forrest. During the fight Maul lost control and almost destroyed the oasis had Voodoo not used her powers to stop him they found the area was made by Tumbleweed but he could not create any more and could only sustain the one. Later Defile and his Daemonites attack L.A since they can now survive their and Maul fights Defile himself. Warblade is beaten by Defile who then makes his mass and size greater than Maul but Warblade turns himself into a sword Maul uses to stab Defile and after the fight a truce is made between the two forces.

Alternate Versions:
  • World War 3: In this Marvel/WildStorm amalgamated universe, Maul is a member of the Fantastic Four, fighting against the combined evil of Dr. Doom, the Skrulls, and the Daemonites.
