J. Scott Campbell
Born: April 12, 1973 in East Tawas, MichiganFirst WildStorm work: StormWatch #0 Bio:J. Scott Campbell was born in East Towas, Michigan, but spent the majority of his years growing up in Denver, Colorado. Having drawn ever since he can remember, he always knew he was going to pursue a career in art. It wasn't until a friend shoed him the X-Men Annual that he decided comics were the thing for him.
After graduating from high school with a vocational certificate in commercial art, Jeff spent a year and a half doing freelance work from T-shirt designs to toy packages. He then sent in sample work in response to the Homage Studios talent search and shortly thereafter became part of the crew.
Jeff pencilled parts of the Homage Studios Swimsuit Special, WildC.A.T.s Sourcebook, and StormWatch #0, and was the regular penciller on Gen 13 miniseries. His artistic influences are Jim Lee, Art Adams, Todd McFarlane, and Michael Golden to name just a few.
