- StormWatch is sent to the Mauna Loa volcano to stop Maul, reprogrammed by the Daemonite Lord Defile, from dropping a bomb into it. StormWatch leader Battalion is apparently killed trying to contain the explosion. (StormWatch Vol 1 #16)
