Gifted One
First Appearance: WildC.A.T.s #1History:
"Gifted One" is the term given to individuals who retain both Kherubim and Human blood within them. Daemonite Crossbreeds are not possible, although once Daemonite genes were spliced with Kherubim ones in an attempt to create a new warrior for them. This individual escaped however and was considered mostly Kherubim and rejoined his people. His descendant is Voodoo and Voodoo is considered a Kherubim Crossbreed with Daemonite genes in her. But still, a Kherubim Crossbreed. Also known as Gifted Ones..Crossbreeds as a group tend to be far far more powerful then their Kherubim parents and as such, are extremely valuable to both Kherubim and Daemonite sides. The race to find and recruit a crossbreed is often a dangerous and deadly one..with Daemonites usually attempting to kill who they cannot convert and make their own while the Kherubims seek to teach, protect and recruit them.
At a glance, a Crossbreed may seem like a mutant. Their powers don't usually manifest until young adult or adult years though some do manifest younger. Their powers are inborn however and not the result of genetic mutation. Their blood and genetics..though usually mostly human..still have alien genes buried with them. The powers that they may develop may range from slight to extrodinarily powerful. A child who is a crossbreed of a Kheribum Lord has the potential for serious power within them.
Some Gifted Ones who have been revealed are: Warblade, Maul, Voodoo, Crimson..who is 1/4th Kheribum, Pike, Sister Eve and possibly Winter.
