First incarnation:

The first time the term "Gen 14" was used it was not to describe a team. It was when Caitlin Fairchild was sent to a future where the alien race known as the D'rahn had taken over the Earth. Gen 14 were the children of Burnout and Rainmaker. They were created using DNA taken from Burnout and Rainmaker. The two children were called Vibe and Enertia.

First appearance: Gen 13 #24 (Vol. 2)















Second incarnation:
The second time the term Gen 14 is used is when another team is discovered that came from the Tabula Rasa program that created the Gen 13 kids after the Worldstorm. Unlike the Gen 13 kids, Gen 14 was created as breeding subjects to be mated with Gen 13.
