Synopsis:
Dane: Loyalties-chapter 1
Jackson Dane and the Wetworks are engaged in a hellish battle between the borders of Austria and Italy. They fight against a supernatural beast of the Night Tribes called Kabras and his army. Dane demands that Kabras release the humans who he has captured as part of the food supply for the Night Tribes. Kabras retreats but not before declaring war against Dane and the Wetworks. Just as the Wetworks celebrate their victory Dane receives a message from John Lynch that Team 7 is reforming.

Dane: Loyalties-chapter 2
John Lynch tries to convince former Team 7 teammate Jackson Dane that he knows a way to save the world and restore it. Dane is skeptical and tells Lynch of all the accomplishments Wetworks has had in their fight against The Night Tribes. He tells Lynch that they are on the verge of a war with The Night Tribes and he does not believe that Lynch can do what he claims. He declines Lynch’s offer but Sister Mary quickly warns him not to give up on Lynch yet.

Dane: Loyalties-chapter 3
Sister Mary tells Jackson Dane that she has seen Dane undo the end of the world before (as seen in Deathblow: Sinners & Saints) and that he will do so again. Black Sun confirms that she too has seen signs and portents showing this and Dane finally agrees to seek out John Lynch. But before he goes, he sets off on one last solo mission against The Night Tribes. He tells Sister Mary that if he survives the mission, he'll go find Lynch.

Dane:Loyalties-chapter 4
Jackson Dane makes it to the throne room of Kabras, who thinks Dane is purposely committing suicide to bring him down. But Dane reveals he has the head of the Gorgon and begins to turn the creatures all the stone. But before Dane can turn the Gorgon's head on Kabras, Hellstrike appears and teleports he and Dane to Skywatch.

It is revealed that Dane was working with Stormwatch because Jackson King wanted The Night Tribes gathered in one place with Kabras alive to keep them there. When Dane asks why, Jackson asks why Dane wanted a favor from him in the first place. Their powers prevent them from reading each others mind so neither one divulges their plans.

Dane is teleported to Virginia where he begins his search for John Lynch.
