Powers/Abilities:
At first glance, one would assume The Black Halo possesses superhuman strength and invulnerability, but he is in fact a psionic.

Quentin has the ability to summon a telekinetic field that allows him to fly, push large objects wherever he desires, and enables him to endure tremendous amounts of punishment.

Bio:
Being overweight his entire life made things difficult for Quentin Taylor. Although he never showed it, he hated being taunted by his friends, and being rejected by the popular females due to his size. Quentin grew up in a single-parent home with his mother Katherine and his sister Sherlynn. As the only male in his home he would find it hard to relate to his family, so he expressed himself through his love for art and rapping at local hip-hop functions in Dayton, Ohio.

One night after a concert, Quentin returned home and laid in his bed contemplating his life and his goals he has yet to reach. Suddenly, a bright light engulfed his bedroom and as the light vanished so did Quentin. Mrs. Taylor notified the authorities of her son's mysterious disappearance but little was accomplished by this action. Two weeks later, her son returned unconscious and visibly genetically altered. Quention is now 6'7" and 332 pounds of muscle.

Department PSI was notified about this bizarre case, and Backlash and Taboo were sent to investigate. Upon arrival, Backlash witnessed the size and power of Quentin firsthand when he refused to co-operate with PSI. After a brief struggle, Quentin was convinced to return to PSI and have some tests run on him.

Quentin took the name Omni and served on PSI's field team under Backlash's command. He was injured during the first violent crashes with the alien D'rahn and quit government service.
