Synopsis:
Backlash meets his daughter Jodi for the first time. He finds out that she's the daughter of Lynn Morinaka, an old flame who died of cancer a month earlier. He's tired from the events from their latest adventure so he suggests they talk more in the morning.

Meanwhile, we see Fennex, one of the Kindred, beating up on some street thugs. Dingo is working with her, but tries to stop her from going too far. She ends up killing one thug. Then Bloodmoon, Kamin, and Slider show up. Dingo planted a homing device on Backlash when they ran into each other, and now Bloodmoon and his Kindred are hunting him down.

Back at the safehouse, we learn that Jodi has been studying martial arts for most of her life. She spars with Backlash and ends up beating him, much to Cyberjack's delight. Later, while everyone is gone, Bloodmoon and company arrive and ransack the place looking for the transmitter. They find it on some clothing and also find a note saying that Backlash and Jodi have gone to Coney Island. They ambush Backlash at the park and a fight ensues, but eventually they capture both Backlash and Jodi.
