The Authority — or what's left of them — struggle to survive in their harsh new environment. As if the daily struggle to continue living in this devastated world wasn't enough,
things take a turn for the worse when a ragtag army of vicious psychopaths approach the Carrier — led by the Eidolon! Are the Authority capable of handling this new threat?

Plus: Part 2 of the Wetworks backup story that began last month in WILDCATS #2, written by Christos Gage and illustrated by Brandon Badeaux!

SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!
Synopsis:
The Soul Storms arrive over the London skies in all their ferocity. The storm itself is comprised of dead beings whose energy tears through the sky. Swift unfortunately is caught up in one such storm while Midnighter continues to rescue refugees below. Swift is knocked out of the sky by the storm and crashes into a building. She remains unconscious for a bit until some cries for help awaken her. From a hidden position, Swift sits and watches as an army led by Eidolon marches through the city killing those who will not join their ranks. Realizing she is vastly outnumbered, Swift quickly flies back to The Carrier. Once there, she tries to convince Jack Hawksmoor to rally a defense against the approaching army. He declines claiming that to fight would continue the way things were before, which he blames for the current state of the world. Midnighter arrives in time to hear Jacks’ decline and decides to take matters into his own hands. He infiltrates Eidolon’s camp and confronts him. He gives Eidolon two choices: fight or talk. Midnighter waits for Eidolon to choose.

"Dane: Loyalties-Chapter 2"
John Lynch tries to convince former Team 7 teammate Jackson Dane that he knows a way to save the world and restore it. Dane is skeptical and tells Lynch of all the accomplishments Wetworks has had in their fight against The Night Tribes. He tells Lynch that they are on the verge of a war with The Night Tribes and he does not believe that Lynch can do what he claims. He declines Lynch’s offer but Sister Mary quickly warns him not to give up on Lynch yet.
